Order more than $60 in merchandise, and you will receive free ground shipping via UPS! Orders must ship to Street Addresses in the Contiguous 48 United States - not valid for shipments to PO Boxes. We're sorry we can't offer this service to Alaska or Hawaii. To receive your free shipping, please make sure you select "Ground" as your shipping option.

Same Day Order Processing: Monday - Friday before 6:00 PM Eastern Time

Orders (without order verification problems - see below) placed by 6:00 PM Eastern Time / 3:00 PM Pacific Time are processed the same business day! Orders placed on Friday evening, Saturday, and Sunday are shipped on the next business day, typically a Monday (holidays may impact this schedule). If we are unable to ship within that time frame, we will call and/or email you with possible options to meet your needs. Delivery time depends on the shipping method you choose, and the shipping times begin AFTER the order leaves our warehouse. We ship via UPS or USPS (Priority Mail or Parcel Post) depending on the package size, it's shipping location, and the method of shipping you've selected. Typical delivery time for ground shipping is six to nine days (excluding the day it shipped). Remote locations, and APO may take longer.

Monday, September 6th, 2010, is Labor Day. Both UPS and the US Postal Service are closed this day, so there will be no shipping activity. If your order is in transit on this day, expect final delivery to be delayed by 1 business day.

When will my order arrive?

1stBirthdayParty.com ships from several different warehouses around the country. We try to be conservative when we quote delivery date estimates, assuming the longest time in transit for ground shipments. We process orders Monday - Friday, with a daily shipment cut-off of 6:00 PM Eastern Time. Orders placed over the weekend are processed on Monday. Orders placed on Monday through Thursday after 6:00 PM Eastern time are processed the next business day. See the shipping schedule below for an estimate of your delivery time.

We ship fast, but we also aggressively fight fraud! Different "Bill To" & "Ship To" Addresses

We have implemented measures to protect ourselves (and credit card users) from fraud which may delay your order. Please see the order verfication section for details.

If the "Ship To" location is different than the "Bill To" location, we may delay your order until we can confirm the details of your order via telephone. Please provide an accurate phone number where you can be reached during the day.

If the billing address does not EXACTLY match the address on file with your bank, your order will be delayed until we can verify your address. To avoid order processing delays, please make sure you enter the exact address where your credit card or debit card statement is mailed in the "Bill To" fields in the shopping cart.

UPS 2 Day and 3 Day Rush Delivery Options

For expedited shipping, we offer a choice of 2-day and 3-Day listed shipping options. Shipping times always begin the day after the order leaves our warehouse. Weekend days are not counted as shipping days, nor are holidays. For example, a 2-day order shipped on Thursday will arrive Monday rather than Saturday.

Overnight Delivery Options

We can custom quote an overnight rush delivery if you really need something that fast. For custom quotes, please call or email us with your zip code, and a list of the items in your order.

USPS Priority Mail Shipping

For APOs, PO Boxes, Hawaii/Alaksa, and US Territories, plus for anyone who desires to use the US Postal Service Priority Mail service, we offer a USPS shipping option. Shipping times always begin the day after the order leaves our warehouse. USPS Priority Mail is generally a 2 to 3 day delivery service, and they also deliver on Saturdays, which can save you and extra delivery day.

Don't select this option if:

• You want guaranteed delivery dates, with detailed trackable delivery status. If you want this type of service, select our UPS 2 Day or 3 Day shipping options to take advantage of UPS's great shipment tracking capabilities. USPS does not provide detailed tracking status on packages in their system.
• Insurance on your product. Packages shipped via USPS are NOT insured or gauranteed in any way.

* A note of caution: USPS Priority Mail is not trackable the same way as UPS, and this is not a guaranteed at a certain time delivery service. Our experience is that the products arrive 3 - 4 mail days (excluding Sundays and holidays) in 95-98% of the shipments.

APOs, PO Boxes, Hawaii/Alaska, Puerto Rico and other American Territories

You must select USPS Priority Mail to ship to these addresses. Please note that the USPS does not provide detailed package tracking like UPS, and they do not gaurantee their delivery times. For Guan, USVI, and other US territories (excluding Puerto Rico), we reserve the right to review the order, and contact you with a custom shipping quote.

Oversized Item Surcharges: Yard Signs, Pinatas, and other Oversized Items.

Certain items are very large, and incur an Oversized Item Surcharge when shipped UPS 3 Day, UPS 2 Day, or USPS Priority Mail. The UPS charges us higher rates due to the size of the box, not just it's weight. Therefore, any Yard Signs, Pinatas, or other items designated as oversized on that item's description page will be charged an oversize item surcharge. The shipping surcharge will be charged separately, on the day following shipment, and is in addition to the regular shipping rate. UPS 2 Day or 3 Day Surcharge: $5.99. Priority Mail Surcharge: $12.00.

Shipping Address Mistakes & Surcharges

If your shipment requires extraordinary handling by our shipper due to the order having a wrong address, no one being available to receive the shipment, or any other reason, we will pass along those charges to you at the cost we've been charged by our shipping provider, and charge the credit card used in the original purchase.
